NOTE: We will only send certificates that are 2 years old or newer.
Anything older than 2 years cannot be retrieved for the client/attorney. We are obligated to keep the certificate for 1 year but we keep it for 2 as a matter of practice.
Steps to determine if an archived certificate is available
- Search for client
- If not found in the active list, click on the link – Search archived client (older than one year).
- Locate the client’s name in the archived client list.
- Click on the certificate link, if a copy of the certificate appears, it is available.
- Submit action requesting a copy of the archived certificate is emailed to the client. The action should include the client’s email and phone number.
- We only offer EMAIL delivery, we don’t fax or send by US mail.
Archived Cert Not/found/Error
If you click on the cert and receive an error message, this means the certificate is no longer available. Counselors can offer to provide the certificate number.
