SSF Certificates On Hold Pending Payment

Certificates are automatically queued to be issued once:

1. The course is complete.
2. Payment has been received/mailed.

On-Demand Clients

• When signing up an SSF OD client and the client wants to pay later, let them know the certificate will not be issued the course is completed and payment is received.
  • Counselors must note this information in the client account.
    • Example: Client will make payment later; aware cert won’t be issued until payment made.
• If the client is calling back to inform us they have mailed a money order:
  • The counselor will capture that information by clicking “Client Mailed Payment.”
    • Enter the Money Order (MO) number and/or date the MO was mailed.
    • This will put the certificate into the queue to be issued.

Web Clients

• Online clients who pay for their SSF certificate over the phone should be instructed to log back into their account to complete the following final steps:
  • Log back into their online account
  • Sign the online affidavit
  • Verify the bankruptcy case number
  • Verify the judicial district
  • Verify the certificate delivery options
  • The last button they will press will be Issue My Certificate.

The certificate will NOT be queued to be issued unless the final steps are completed by the client.
