No Force Complete Option for Web Clients
Effective April 1, 2025: We can no longer force complete web clients who state they have taken the course with together with their spouse.
When web clients start the counseling process, joint debtors are given the clear option to take the course together or separately, and with the new course format, force completing is no longer an option. If a joint debtor states that they took the course online with their spouse, please remind them that they originally selected the option to take the course separately and they must each complete the course material under their own name.
- This does not apply to On Demand clients.
- This policy applies to Cricket Debt, Urgent Co, and Solid Start and CIN clients.
Note: It’s helpful to remind clients that they budget entries will be visible to their spouse when they go through their counseling. The second person to go through counseling will not need to re-enter those fields, and will only need to read through the counseling material and make changes as needed. Both clients will still need to go through the mandatory, one-on-one counseling separately.
