Adding Spouses & Updating Names On An Account

Need to add a spouse – CIN

If a CIN client with a single account asks to have his/her spouse added, please refer them to MHT at 866-218-1003 ext. 1 to have the spouse added.

“Please contact My Horizon Today at 866-218-1003 ext. 1 to have your spouse added to your account. Once added, your spouse will need to log into the account to take the counseling on their own.”

Need to add a spouse – NON-CIN

If a NON-CIN WC client with a single account asks to have his/her spouse added they have two options:

OPTION #1

They can call the appropriate Customer Service (Cricket or Uco) during business hours to have their spouse added.

“Please call us during business hours at XXX XXX XXXX to have your spouse added to your account. Once added, your spouse will need to log into the account to take the counseling on their own.”

OPTION #2

They can go to the Account Info screen and scroll to the bottom and click the red link “add a spouse to your account.”

“To add your spouse to your account, please go to the Account Info screen, scroll to the bottom and click on the red link that says “Add a spouse to your account” and follow the prompts. Once your spouse is added they will need to log into the account to take the counseling on their own.”

If they are a NON-CIN phone client, you can add the spouse and advise the client that the spouse will need to log into the account to take the counseling on their own.

Dup Names on account – CIN

If a CIN client has a joint account set up but both names are the same you will need to confirm if the account was set up as a joint account in error.

“I can see your account was set up by your attorney’s office as a joint account for John and John Doe, was that done in error? Should this be a single account in your name only?”

If the response is that it was done in error and should be a single account, the duplicate name can be ignored.

If the name was duplicate and the name should have been a spouse’s name, direct the client to MHT to have it corrected.

“Please contact My Horizon Today at 866-218-1003 ext. 1 to have your spouse’s name corrected in your account.

Dup Names on account – NON-CIN

If a NON-CIN client has a joint account set up but both names are the same you will need to confirm if the account was set up as a joint account in error.

“I can see your account was set as a joint account for John and John Doe, was that done in error? Should this be a single account in your name only?”

If the response is that it was done in error and should be a single account, the duplicate name can be removed. (If WC, the counselor can send an action to have that corrected.)

If the name was a duplicate name should have been a spouse’s name, for WC, they have two options:

OPTION #1

They can call the appropriate Customer Service (Cricket or Uco) during business hours to have their spouse’s name added.

“Please call us during business hours at XXX XXX XXXX to have your spouse added to your account.”

OPTION #2

They can go to the Account Info screen and scroll to the bottom and click the red link “add a spouse to your account.”

“To correct your spouse’s information on your account, please go to the Account Info screen, scroll to the bottom and click on the red link that says “Change your account information” and correct your spouse’s information and then click the update button.”

If they are a NON-CIN phone client, you can make the correction.

Remove name (non-duplicate) from account CIN

Names cannot be removed in our system from CIN accounts. You may advise the client to call MHT to ensure all is correct on their end.

“While I am unable to remove your spouse from the account, please contact My Horizon Today to ensure your account is set up accurately on their end. They can be reached at 866-218-1003 ext.1.”

Remove name (non-duplicate) from account NON-CIN

If WC, please advise the client to call (CD/UC) during business hours to have the spouse removed from the account and provide the appropriate company name and number.

“To have your spouse removed from the account, please contact Customer Service during business hours (6am-6pm Pacific) via phone or email.

        • Provide appropriate email & phone number for the company the client is using.

If a phone client, you may remove the name.
