Clients are always given the option to apply for a fee waiver during registration even if they have an attorney pays code.
Client Pays
- The client provides the attorney code during registration.
- The client is required to pay for the course.
- When the client’s certificate is issued, the attorney receives a copy of the certificate by their preferred method of transmission (either fax or email).
Attorney Pays
- The client provides the attorney code during registration.
- The system automatically bypasses the payment screen.
- When the client is issued their certificate the attorney will receive a copy of the certificate via their preferred method of transmission, either fax or email.
- Most attorneys are billed on the Saturday following the date the certificate is issued.
Attorney Pays on View
- The client provides the code during registration.
- The system automatically bypasses the payment screen.
- When the client is issued their certificate ONLY the attorney will receive notification that the certificate has been issued.
- The attorney will not be billed until the attorney “unlocks” the client’s’ certificate by logging into their attorney account and clicking on the “view/unlock” link.
- Once the certificate is unlocked by the attorney, the certificate is now available to the client.
- Most attorneys are billed on the Saturday following the date the certificate is unlocked.
